Connections Beyond the Field

Connections are crucial in all aspects of our operation especially those beyond the field. We make it a priority to give back to our community, foster partnerships, and promote career success through our summer intern opportunities for college students studying agriculture.

Connecting with our Communities

Our farm is intimately tied to the neighbors around us and larger community that we serve and live in. We understand involvement in all levels of service is crucial to make the agriculture community thrive.

We are thankful for our many blessings. In an effort to give back to the community, we participated in

“Operation Blessing!”

We love to bring children from local schools out to the farm so they can learn a little bit about how food gets from the field, to the store, then to their dinner plates.

Students from the Head Start Program work together to carry a bucket full of sweetpotatoes after learning why they are an important part of their diet.

Connecting with our Network

We understand and value the of connecting with other members in the agricultural industry including other growers, packers, and shippers. We make it a priority to connect with industry groups through memberships and stay up to date on all necessary certifications.

College Connections

We appreciate the value of classroom education, but we also understand the importance of hands-on experiences.

Each summer we provide a rising college senior pursuing a career in agriculture the opportunity to gain real world exposure to the logistics/supply chain management, marketing, and food safety aspects and so much more of our farming and packing operations.
